The examination is conducted by the independent personal certification body PersCert TÜV of TÜV Rheinland. After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate from PersCert TÜV that certifies your qualification as a "Data Protection Officer (TÜV)". PersCert TÜV documents the requirements for your qualification on the globally accessible internet platform www.certipedia.com. Use the certification mark with your individual ID 0000081623 as an advertising label under the conditions described at www.tuv.com/perscert. Strengthen the trust of customers and interested parties with your documented qualification.

The "Data Protection Officer (TÜV)" certificate is valid for 3 years. You have the option of extending the validity of your qualification by recertifying for a fee. This requires participation in at least one (or more) subject-relevant further training courses totalling at least 8 units during the period of validity of the certificate and proof of continued professional activity in the specialist area.
